The Pike Anglers of Cambourne are back for another season of Pike and Zander fishing. Hopefully it will produce some more fine and exciting sport. We intend to fish for Zander on the Fenland Drains in the earlier part of the season. This will mean some summer night fishing sessions, as well as Lure fishing during the day.
So if you fancy coming along then please drop us a line… Out of interest, I took my dogs to Graffham Water and was reminded of Matt Hayes and Mick Brown's trip there during "The Great Rod Race". Apart from Trout, there are big Zander and Pike in the depths so it could be a potential venue for us? Any further suggestions of local venues are gratefully received.
The Predator Cup dates for this coming season will once again consist of six monthly outings starting in October. These are the following suggested dates for the 2007/2008 season:
Round 1: October 28th T.B.C
Round 2: November 25th T.B.C
Round 3: December 30th T.B.C
Round 4: January 27th T.B.C
Round 5: February 17th T.B.C
Round 6: March 9th T.B.C
Please remember that you must always carry a valid Rod Licence with you at all times.
